“You must understand, you’ll know that unperishable state of God consciousness is residing in each and every being. In that way, you won’t hate anybody. If you hate anybody, it means you don’t find the state of God consciousness in that person. If you ever found that the state of God consciousness is in that person, you’d never hate him.” ~Swami Lakshmanjoo
A very important point of Kashmir Shaivism, a monistic school of thought, is exposed in this excerpt from the Essence of the Supreme Reality: Abhinavagupta’s Paramarthasara by Swami Lakshmanjoo.

Some great soul, Śaṁbhu Bhaṭṭāraka, has said . . .
This Yogarāja, the commentator of this Abhinavagupta’s Paramārthasāra, he refers to this śloka of Śaṁbhu Bhaṭṭāraka. [Śaṁbhu Bhaṭṭāraka] was a great soul.
[He said]:
एको भावः सर्वभावस्वभावः
सर्वे भावा एकभावस्वभावाः ।
एको भावस्तत्त्वतो येन दृष्टः
सर्वे भावास्तत्त्वतस्तेन दृष्टाः ॥
eko bhāvaḥ sarva-bhāva-svabhāvaḥ
sarve bhāvā ekabhāva-svabhāvāḥ /
eko bhāvas-tattvato yena dṛṣṭaḥ
sarve bhāvās-tattvatastena dṛṣṭāḥ //
Eko bhāvaḥ, one Being (one Being, that is Śiva, Lord Śiva, Parabhairava) has become sarva bhāva svabhāva, He has become many; many, right from that insect to śānta kala.86 He has become so many. Sarve bhāvā eka bhāva svabhāvā, and all these are actually eka bhāva svabhāvā, actually this is only the drama of One, i.e., Parabhairava, bas. It is only eka bhāva (one Being). All are one. One are many; The One has become many.
Eko bhāvas-tattvato yena dṛṣṭa, and that fortunate one who has realized what is eko bhāva (one Being), who has realized [this] by the tīvra śaktipāta87 of Parabhairava, sarve bhāvāḥ tattvatastena dṛṣṭā, he has realized all beings.
So, all beings are equal to one Being, one Being is equal to all beings. There is no difference between all beings and one Being.
Right?
Bhagavadgītāsvapi, in the Bhagavad Gītā also, Lord Kṛṣṇa explains this to Arjuna:
सर्वभूतेषु येनैकं भावमक्षयमीक्षते ।
अविभक्तं विभक्तेषु तज्ज्ञानं विद्धि सात्त्विकम् ॥
sarva-bhūteṣu yenaikaṁ bhāvamakṣayamīkṣate /
avibhaktaṁ vibhakteṣu tajjñānaṁ viddhi sāttvikam //88
Śāttvic knowledge is that, by which knowledge, by which sāttvic knowledge, a fortunate person sees only one bhāva, one state of being, which is undifferentiated in differentiated; which is undifferentiated . . .
Who is undifferentiated? Bhairava, Being.
. . . in the differentiated world. Tat jñānaṁ, that knowledge, is sāttvic knowledge, that is the true knowledge.89

85 “Just as syrup, brown sugar, molasses, and purified sugar are just the juice of the sugar cane, so all these different conditions are Śambhu, the supreme Self.” Paramārthasāra, John Hughes, 1972.
86 “When the agitation and tides of these six-fold coverings are over (kañcuka taraṅga upaśamāt), śāntā nāma kalā, that is called śāntā kalā. Śāntā kalā is that circle in which circle all agitations of these six-fold coverings are over. This śāntā kalā exists, sā ca śuddhavidyādiśaktyante sthitā iti, from śuddhavidyā element to śakti.” Swami Lakshmanjoo, Janma Maraṇa Vicāra, USF archive. See also Appendix A-8.
